I am passionate about working at the intersection between the arts and urban development, as these two areas cross-fertilise each other in ways that offer new and evolving experiences of space and social interaction.
My research and development projects have followed this path of investigation and have contributed to new encounters in both theoretical discourse and actual spaces and places.

how to develop organisations that provide open and tolerant spaces
Setting up your activity and mission as a charitable cause has many benefits, including:
being able to raise funds from many trusts and foundations, local and national authorities, awarding bodies and donations
providing a robust framework for engaging volunteers in co-delivering your outcomes
having the support and expertise of a board of trustees and access to pro bono legal advice services, amongst other benefits such as training programmes and invites to special events
I have been on the journey myself, taking organisations through transformational change towards becoming charities (including CICs and community benefit societies).
I want others who start up charities and charity leaders to avoid mistakes that cost time, money and energy. There is a lot of ‘how to’ advice out there on running charities, however, each cause and business model is unique as are your communities and values.
I help organisations steer through change and develop their goals, by using my practical skills and experience of the sector to deliver actions and outcomes.
